Job summary

ABB's Service Division is seeking a Protection & Control Engineer to act as the technical lead for engineering activities on assignments. You will ensure that activities across all disciplines are executed efficiently and cost-effectively, and serve as the design authority for a specific engineering discipline.

This is a full remote position with a preference for candidates located in the Northern California area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of protection & control project experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines and schematics.
• PE license in California is required.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and act as design authority for protection and control projects.
• Develop engineering documentation and analyses (schematics, layouts, BOMs).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project materials.
• Ensure safety and compliance with standards and customer requirements.
