Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is seeking a Director of Proposals & District Contracts to lead the RFP process for AlphaBEST and its subsidiaries, coordinating across Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance and Marketing to produce compelling proposals and manage key contract milestones.

The role oversees renewals, deadlines, and opportunities, develops strategy and messaging, and runs Loopio content across teams, including supervising one direct report. Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in proposal management, RFP development, business development, contract administration, marketing, or a related field.
• Public-sector or education-sector RFP experience strongly preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret complex RFPs, contracts, procurement documents, and scoring criteria.
• Experience with proposal management software preferred; Loopio experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical, presentation development, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs from opportunity evaluation through final submission.
• Develop proposal strategy, messaging, content, and supporting materials.
• Own and maintain our Loopio proposal management platform and content library.
• Track B2B contracts, renewals, extensions, expirations, and anticipated rebids.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, Operations, and other teams to proactively manage contract and proposal priorities.
• Prepare presentation materials and teams for RFP interviews and finalist presentations.
• Track proposal outcomes and use win/loss and competitive insights to strengthen future strategies.
• Manage and develop one direct report supporting proposal coordination and administration.
• Support business development and marketing initiatives as organizational priorities require.
