Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across the community, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality for indoor and outdoor areas.

You will diagnose issues from resident requests, coordinate make-ready tasks for vacant units, and supervise contractors while maintaining budgetary constraints. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED accepted with related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively to interact with residents and staff.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications may be required for HVAC work.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a vehicle on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and performs maintenance tasks to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Process and complete resident work orders and make-ready tasks for new move-ins.
• Inspect contractors and vendors to ensure quality and compliance with policies.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies within budgetary guidelines.
• Assist Community Manager with budget development for repairs and capital projects.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and MSDS requirements.
