Job summary

Blackwood Partners represents a premier Real Estate Developer in the Austin area seeking a true Lead/Senior Superintendent to manage ground-up Data Center construction from site work through Certificate of Occupancy.

You will mentor at least one Assistant Superintendent, lead on-site trades, and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while upholding a People-1st culture and a strong safety program. This role offers above-market compensation and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Lead/Senior level Field Operations Professionals overseeing ground-up construction projects from underground utilities/site work through final C of O.
• Comfort with managing direct reports (Assistant Superintendent) and mentoring staff.
• Experience coordinating on-site trades and subcontractors on complex data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground-up construction from site work to final occupancy.

This role is for the true Lead and/or Senior-level Field Operations Professionals -- Those who are comfortable overseeing ground-up construction projects from underground utilities/site work through final C of O.

Our client asks you to be comfortable with at least one direct report (Assistant Superintendent), who you will mentor, lead, and evaluate. Our client further asks you understand and are up to the challenge of being the “glue” – taking full accountability & responsibility for your project(s).
