Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 to provide leadership for whole projects or portions of larger programs in Irving, TX. You’ll collaborate with the Project Superintendent, clients and design teams to implement project strategies and ensure safe, on-time delivery.

You will manage bid packages, subcontractor coordination, and approvals, while maintaining schedules, budgets and risk analyses across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• May require travel or relocation.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
• May be exposed to extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture initiatives and ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage prestart process and bid package development.
• Support preconstruction activities including quantity takeoffs and scope reviews.
• Lead buyout scheduling, pricing verification and subcontract issuance.
• Oversee submittal schedules, shop drawings and samples per project schedule.
• Coordinate pricing with materials and equipment vendors; manage risk analysis for subs.
• G uide change requests with subcontractors and obtain approvals.
• Lead monthly project reviews, OAC meetings and progress reporting.
• Prepare project schedule with Lean inputs; manage resources and procurement logs.
• Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation plans.
