Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager for a flagship residential development in Dorchester. You will oversee delivery from construction through completion, leading a team including a Senior Site Manager and collaborating with clients and authorities.

The role requires proven PM experience on residential schemes, strong leadership, excellent planning and communication, and a solid grasp of quality, safety, and commercial performance. Modular exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Lead Project Manager on residential construction projects.
• Experience delivering new build housing, apartments or mixed residential/modular developments.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience managing Site Managers or Senior Site Managers.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of a large residential housing development.
• Managing and supporting an experienced Senior Site Manager.
• Overseeing programme, quality, health & safety and commercial performance.
• Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and local authorities.
• Driving programme milestones and ensuring timely project delivery.
• Identifying and managing project risks and resolving issues proactively.
• Maintaining exceptional standards of customer satisfaction and build quality.
