Job summary

MasTec’s Lemartec is seeking a Project Manager for the Building Systems Division to safely plan, manage, and deliver complex projects. The role requires experience with pre-engineered metal buildings and a track record of leading teams, mentoring and aligning with contracts, design drawings, and project specs.

The candidate will oversee multiple project teams, coordinate with architects/engineers/owners, and drive client satisfaction while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Pre-engineered Metal Building project management experience.
• Degree in construction management or related field; 3+ years experience if no degree.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong scheduling and document control experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks on the critical path.
• Understand subcontractor scope and contracts to identify risks.
• Lead a team of project managers and assistants to deliver results.
• Recruit qualified subcontractors and manage client relationships.
• Submit change orders and ensure project quality control.
