Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-voltage transmission and distribution projects across the country. The role focuses on planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, subcontractor management, safety, quality, and execution of multi-site construction programs.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of project management experience in electrical construction, a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business, and a strong proficiency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in high-voltage transmission and distribution or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business.
• PMP certification preferred; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with project software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and manage budget for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Ensure costs stay within forecast and implement cost-saving measures.
• Develop and manage Schedule of Values (SOV) and submit billing packages.
• Oversee pre-construction efforts including bid preparation and contract review.
• Provide regular project cost forecasting and progress reporting.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and contractor communications and documentation.
