Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/associate/high school path with required years of project management experience.
• Three years as PROJECT MANAGER ASSOCIATE (Grade 6) preferred or equivalent demonstrated competencies.
• Experience in outage management, project controls, estimating, engineering, and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate assigned project activities.
• Support safety via the AEP System Safety Process.
• Develop and coordinate project plan, schedule, budget, tools, and staff.
• Communicate project details and status updates; lead planning meetings.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and promote teamwork.
• Provide guidance to improve design, systems, procedures, schedules, and costs.
• Ensure timely performance of project work activities; assist or lead as needed.
• Coach and develop team members on project management skills.
• Develop and manage procurement plans and contracts for outside resources.
• Conduct closeout analyses to assess project success.
• Understand and apply AEP project management standards.
