Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager for Commercial Construction to lead major projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence. This role demands strong financial management, leadership, and client-facing skills across sectors including hospitality, retail, and tenant improvements.

Responsibilities include budgeting, subcontract management, change orders, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• 8+ years of experience in construction management.
• Experience managing large, complex commercial projects of $20M+.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall financial performance of assigned construction projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project budgets, cost projections, and equipment forecasts.
• Review and approve invoices, assign cost codes, and adjust budgets as needed.
• Produce monthly owner billings and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Lead, coach, and mentor Field Engineers and Project Engineers, providing direction and support.
