Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Project Engineer (Lead or Senior) to join the E-7A Systems Engineering team on the E-7A program. You will provide engineering leadership across multiple skill areas, coordinate tasks and milestones, and drive plans, risk mitigation and SOW changes with internal teams and external partners.

This role requires a BS in an engineering field and several years of project engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of project engineering or related experience.
• Experience coordinating tasks and schedules across stakeholders.
• Experience tracking milestones, risks, and execution priorities.
• Ability to develop statements of work and manage scope changes.

Responsibilities

• Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
• Supports proposal development and leads project execution by identifying activities, resources and events required to complete the work statement.
• Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of the project or team plan.
• Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.
• Plans, identifies and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.
• Identifies and defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunities.
• Implements corrective actions to improve performance.
• Develops statements of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
• Identifies and manages changes to SOW, assesses the impact of those changes, and incorporates changes into statement of work.
