Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Project Engineer (Lead or Senior) to join the E-7A Systems Engineering team on the E-7A program. You will provide engineering leadership across multiple skill areas, coordinate tasks and milestones, and drive plans, risk mitigation and SOW changes with internal teams and external partners.

This role requires a BS in an engineering field and several years of project engineering experience.

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity and immediate need on the E-7A Program for a Project Engineer (Lead or Senior) to join our E-7A Systems Engineering team based in Oklahoma City, OK . Due to expanding business, we are looking for Engineers with a multi discipline skill set who can solve problems and lead solutions across multiple Engineering disciplines.

The E-7 is the world’s most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships. This position will work across multiple E-7A programs supporting development of new capabilities for the E-7A program.

Position Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• 5 years’ experience in project engineering, technical project coordination, R&D, or science and technology program support

• 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

• Experience coordinating tasks, schedules, deliverables, and technical inputs across multiple stakeholders.

• Experience tracking project or portfolio status, including milestones, risks, and execution priorities.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 5 (Subject Matter Expert): 10 years’ experience in project engineering, technical project coordination, R&D, or science and technology program support

• Experience with proposal response development and execution planning

• Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and leadership

• Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables

• Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management

• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Summary pay range:

Lead Level: $127,500 — $172,500

Senior Level: $153,000 – $207,000
