Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Lead Project Engineer in Greenville, TX, to provide technical authority and lead cross-functional engineering teams on complex defense programs. You will coordinate planning and execution, manage lifecycle processes, and interact with customers and senior leadership to ensure program success.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret (SCI) and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant program/project and engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related program/project and engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related program/project and engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Demonstrated experience understanding of engineering processes and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in Aircraft Integration, Test and Delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in one of the following disciplines: Software/Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering (including Test Engineering), Project Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute program activities.
• Document and approve program plans.
• Ensure life-cycle process adherence.
• Identify and manage risks.
• Interact with customers and senior leadership.
• Coordinate the program lifecycle.
• Maintain DoD security clearance requirements and U.S. Citizenship obligations.
