The position requires a strong background in aerospace/defense, financial oversight, and IMS/EVMS familiarity. You will mentor other program managers and drive continuous improvement across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience in project/program management or 15+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/manufacturing/regulatory environments.
• Experience interfacing with engineering, manufacturing, and management personnel.
• Experience working with customer, senior management and functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex programs with cross-functional coordination and end-to-end project leadership.
• Serve as customer interface for program activities and reviews with customer and executive staff.
• Establish IMS milestones and monitor master plans and schedules; identify risks and opportunities.
• Direct work of program teams across technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
• Mentor other program managers and drive process improvements across programs.
• Oversee cost, schedule and technical performance of the program and vendor relationships.
