Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Project Management in Greenville, TX to oversee internal and external operations for complex programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and clients.

This role monitors budgets, schedules, risks, and performance, prepares status reports, and drives adoption of best practices across disciplines. Candidates should have an active Secret clearance, a degree with PM experience, and strong MS Excel skills for forecasting and managing projects.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior program/project management experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior program/project management experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior program/project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience using MS Excel for forecasting and planning.
• Demonstrated experience with material management, supply chain and/or logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities between project management, planning, engineering, operations, and other cross functional teams.
• Oversee and track project status, budgets, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare clear, timely project status reports for leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
• Identify project risks, issues, and barriers; develop and implement action plans and resolutions.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project managers, line managers, clients, and external partners.
• Represent the program or project team in internal and external meetings as needed.
• Ability to influence cross-disciplinary teams and drive adoption of project management best practices.
• Microsoft Excel - to develop and implement mechanisms for tracking project progress, identifying risks, and driving proactive intervention.
• Ability to understand client and Customer needs and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
