Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an Experienced Project Engineer/Manager to oversee engineering and administrative policies at the project level. You will coordinate with field operations to ensure clear, timely information transfer and successful implementation of project plans.

Responsibilities include leading engineering staff, ensuring safety and QA/QC, and driving procurement, scheduling, and budget activities. Eight years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree are expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; eight+ years of related construction experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills required.
• Knowledge of contract documents, cost control, estimating, scheduling, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of contract documents, plans, specifications, and codes.
• Lead, supervise, and develop Turner engineering staff.
• Ensure safety, ethics, and compliance on-site at all times.
• Manage information transfer among project team members and with designers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Develop GMP or project budgets in coordination with Preconstruction, Estimating and Purchasing.
• Review construction documents for constructability and QA/QC; raise issues with design professionals.
• Prepare procurement schedules and trade scopes for bids and major purchases.
• Oversee project financial status and prepare status reports; manage meetings and change orders.
