Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer to manage engineering and administrative functions at the project level. You will coordinate with field operations to ensure accurate information transfer and adherence to the project schedule and budget.

Responsibilities include leading engineering staff, ensuring safety and compliance, managing information flow, and overseeing procurement and project close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree + 8+ years of related experience; accounting and cost control knowledge.
• Knowledge of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of contract documents and applicable codes.
• Lead, supervise and develop Turner engineering staff with input on performance appraisals.
• Ensure safety, ethics and compliance at all times.
• Coordinate information flow among project team members and with design professionals.
• Develop GMP or initial project budgets; lead preconstruction efforts as they relate to engineering.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews; resolve drawing and specification concerns with design professionals.
• Prepare procurement schedules and trade scope documents; manage bid packages.
• Oversee project close-out, warranties, and final payments.
