Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Permanent Project Engineer to join our Colorado construction team. You will oversee projects from planning through execution, manage submittals, change orders, and material coordination, and lead onsite meetings with clients and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years in construction, with strong organizational and communication skills. A PE license is a plus, and the position offers a pathway to grow within a respected regional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in construction.
• Proficient in submittals, process submittals, change orders, and material coordination.
• Experience conducting onsite meetings and documenting notes.
• Experience with commercial construction projects.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving mindset under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Proficient with project management software/tools.
• PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
• Reviewing and processing submittals and change orders.
• Coordinating material procurement and delivery for timely execution.
• Organizing and conducting onsite meetings with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Documenting meeting notes and sharing information with stakeholders.
• Ensuring construction activities comply with standards and regulations.
• Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation.
• Collaborating with PMs, architects, and other professionals to meet schedule and budget.
