Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer with a strong background in construction to oversee technical aspects of projects from design to completion on a dynamic team.

You will review plans, coordinate RFIs, submittals, and document controls, and collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure specifications and schedules are met. A bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in construction industry.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, and document control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high grammar accuracy.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Leadership and project management experience.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, blueprints, and other technical documents.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and document controls with high accuracy.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure specifications are met.
• Utilize construction management software for planning, scheduling, and tracking.
• Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials and negotiating prices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction and safety regulations.
• Resolve on-site issues or discrepancies during construction.
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and adjust to meet deadlines.
• Maintain high quality control throughout all phases of the project.
