Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Project Engineer to join our team on high-profile construction projects across education, municipal, healthcare, and commercial sectors. You will coordinate technical activities, review plans, and work with the project team to ensure compliance with contract specs.

With a bachelor’s in engineering or construction management and at least two years’ experience, you’ll use Procore to manage scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the Construction industry.
• Proficient in Procore or equivalent project management software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and experience with project management and team coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Manager in the planning, management, and execution of construction projects.
• Reviewing and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and other written or verbal instructions.
• Coordinating with the project team and subcontractors to ensure all technical aspects of the project are accurately executed.
• Utilizing Procore for project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and communication.
• Conducting quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Preparing and submitting project reports, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Ensuring all safety and compliance measures are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborating with the team to develop and implement project strategies and optimize productivity.
