Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer to join our heavy civil team in the Denver Metro area. You will support project managers on infrastructure projects, coordinating with field teams and suppliers to keep work on schedule.

The role offers visibility across estimating, fabrication, and field operations, with increasing ownership as projects progress. Safety is a core priority, and we value a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Senior Project Managers on heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, permit compliance, and project correspondence.
• Coordinate with field supervision to support daily construction operations and project execution.
• Assist with work planning, quantity tracking, scheduling, and cost control.
• Lead project safety orientations and help maintain project safety documentation.
• Maintain project photos, records, and documentation to ensure accurate project reporting.
• Participate in owner, subcontractor, engineering, and progress meetings.
• Coordinate with estimating, accounting, safety, procurement, and field operations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Support change order management, pay applications, and project reporting.
• Build strong working relationships with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
