Job summary

Morris Adjmi Architects in New York is seeking an experienced Project Architect / Architectural Designer III to lead design development, manage technical coordination, and drive construction documentation for complex projects.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee consultant coordination, and ensure design intent is realized through all project phases, including construction administration.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture required.
• Licensed Architect is required or actively pursuing licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development and coordination across project teams.
• Coordinate consultant teams and ensure design intent is translated into construction documents.
• Lead QA/QC reviews and BIM execution plans.
• Mentor junior staff and guide less experienced team members.
• Manage client communications and expectations.
• Act as primary architectural contact with General Contractors during construction.
