Job summary

Morris Adjmi Architects is seeking a Project Architect / Architectural Designer III to lead design development, document production, and consultant coordination for complex projects in New York. You will guide teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure design intent is translated into construction documents with precision.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and technical excellence, with responsibilities spanning project design, administration, client interactions, and construction phase

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• 8+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Licensed Architect is required for the Project Architect role.
• Architectural Designer III: actively pursuing architectural registration.
• LEED, WELL, Passive House or other professional accreditations are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and foster collaboration across architecture, interiors, consultants, and contractors.
• Develop project documentation strategies and cartoon drawing sets.
• Lead BIM models, renderings, and project documentation.
• Ensure codes, accessibility, and quality control throughout all phases.
