Job summary

Morris Adjmi Architects in New York seeks an Architectural Designer II/Architect II with 6+ years of professional experience and a strong portfolio. Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BIM coordination is required.

You will contribute to design development, production of DD/CD sets, and collaborate with consultants to meet project milestones. The role emphasizes leadership, clear communication, and a rigorous design approach within MA’s collaborative studio culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Procore, MS Office, and Bluebeam.
• Strong design, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand MA’s Project Road Map, project schedule, and deadlines.
• Participate in design development and documentation from concept through construction documents.
• Prepare design presentation materials (images, 3D views, renderings) and assemble decks.
• Coordinate with consultants, manage BIM coordination, and assist with RFI/submittal processes.
• Prepare drawings, schedules, specifications, and maintain project documentation.
• Support CA activities, attend site meetings, and assist with field reports and punch lists.
• Review consultant sets and ensure alignment with project standards.
