Job summary

Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) seeks an experienced Project Architect to lead data center projects for diverse US and international clients. The role focuses on site entitlements, master planning, and building design, guiding cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated architectural and engineering services.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in A/E with Data Center exposure, strong communication, and a hands-on leadership approach to project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and licensure required.
LEED Accredited preferred, with a passion for sustainable and resilient design.
Minimum eight years' experience in the A/E industry required.
Three or more years of experience with Data Center projects.
Extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional services from schematic design through project close-out, including design and technical expertise.
Good written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.
Willingness and ability to work with remote team members using video conferencing and other tools.
Proficient in Revit.
Ability to work well with others under deadline situations.

Responsibilities

Lead and engage with a diverse project team including client, developers, local authorities, architects and engineers.
Oversee project milestones and ensure alignment with contractual and financial objectives.
Prepare and monitor discipline work plans.
Document code research and develop project specifications.
Attend project meetings and review submittals during bidding and construction.
