Job summary

Insight Housing seeks a GPD Housing Program Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Going Home – Berkeley Vets program in Alameda County. You will supervise staff, oversee training, ensure compliance with GPD contract requirements, and monitor program spending.

The role includes outreach, intake and assessment, housing placement for homeless Veterans, coordination with the VA and CoC partners, and maintaining client records and service plans while managing caseloads as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years’ experience providing case management to homeless individuals, low-income Veterans and/or individuals with mental health or substance abuse issues.
• Experience in program management and staff supervision preferred.
• Proficiency with HMIS data entry and database reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and contract deliverables of the Alameda GPD program.
• Hire, onboard, train, supervise, evaluate, and terminate staff as needed.
• Ensure clients receive appropriate services under GPD contracts.
• Review intake files for eligibility and approve financial assistance requests.
