Job summary

Brain Injury Association of Colorado, Inc is seeking a Program Manager - Self-management to lead the Self-Management program staff and engage directly with clients in the Denver area. The role emphasizes coaching, program development, evaluation, and reporting to support survivors and their networks.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ability to travel within the region, and a passion for helping people with brain injury develop practical life skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience teaching life skills: organization, financial management, healthy lifestyle, social skills, job skills, computer and internet usage.
  • Experience working with people with cognitive disabilities and/or behavioral health challenges.
  • Access to reliable transportation for travel within the region this position serves as needed.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to meetings and events within the state.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the Self-Management program staff and work face-to-face with clients.
  • Meet clients weekly in their home community or virtually to support skill development.
  • Train clients in tasks like scheduling, calendar use, and prioritizing to-do lists.
  • Maintain client records in the database and ensure timely data entry and reporting.
  • Supervise program staff and support HR duties as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Advanced degree (preferred)
