Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a production supervisor in Cedar Hill, TX to lead a team of about ten employees in daily corrugated board manufacturing. You will ensure safety, quality and efficiency, coordinate with maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include training staff, enforcing policies, conducting weekly safety meetings, and reporting to the Plant Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and supervise a team in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Understanding of quality, safety and OSHA-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ~ten staff in daily production of quality board, ensuring safe, productive operation with minimal waste.
• Maintain and communicate production standards for quality and efficiency to staff.
• Report quality concerns to Plant Superintendent and assist in setting guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervisor and Maintenance on repairs or preventive maintenance.
• Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings and enforce corrective actions when needed.
