Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Production Test Development Engineer, Customer Hardware (Starlink), to guide a team responsible for high-volume production test of consumer devices. You will define test strategies, write automation, and work with cross-functional teams to scale quality across millions of units.

You will interact with electrical, silicon, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, driving improvements from concept to full-scale production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hardware development or electronics test engineering experience.
• 5+ years of object-oriented programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of test engineers for high-volume production test.
• Develop and maintain Design For Test guidelines with design teams.
• Develop test strategies and perform coverage analyses.
• Write Python automation for units under test and test equipment.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test labs to improve yield.
• Challenge assumptions and propose simple solutions to complex problems.
