Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Electrical Test Engineer for Customer Hardware within Starlink. The role leads a team of test engineers, driving high-volume production test, DFEs, and automation to ensure quality of Starlink dishes, user terminals, and routers.

You will work across electrical, silicon, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams from concept to full-scale production, influencing product operations at a senior level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hardware development or electronics test engineering.
• 5+ years of object-oriented programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of test engineers developing fixtures, test cases and automated test solutions.
• Develop and maintain Design For Test (DFT) guidelines and collaborate with design teams.
• Develop test strategies, perform coverage analyses, and conduct reviews with peer teams.
• Write Python automation to interact with units under test, test equipment, and production systems.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test lab teams to improve product quality and yield.
• Challenge assumptions and devise simple solutions to complex problems.
