Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Lead Electrical Test Engineer for Starlink production test development. You will head a team verantworting fixtures, test cases and automated solutions for consumer hardware, including Starlink dishes and routers.

You will design and implement DFT guidelines, perform thorough test strategy workups, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high quality and reliable production outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in hardware development or electronics test engineering.
• 5+ years of object‑oriented programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of test engineers developing fixtures, test cases, and automated test solutions for high‑volume products.
• Develop and maintain Design For Test (DFT) guidelines and work with design teams to implement them.
• Develop test strategies, perform coverage analyses, and participate in strategy reviews with peers.
• Write Python automation to interact with units under test and production systems.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and test lab teams to improve product quality and yield.
• Challenge assumptions and craft simple solutions to complex problems.
