Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Warren, MI, is seeking a production supervisor to lead direct labor, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will manage Just-In-Time assembly operations, coordinate with other shifts, and enforce policies while coaching staff. The role requires experience in manufacturing supervision and a commitment to 5S/TPM practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Just-In-Time assembly and related operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Communicate policies, procedures, and work instructions to assembly operators before shifts.
• Coordinate objectives with other management to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Enforce safety with PPE and participate in incident investigations.
• Schedule tasks to achieve daily production, quality, and housekeeping goals.
• Train and develop direct labor through JIT operations and training matrices.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and TPM for manufacturing equipment.
• Understand HR policies and approve vacation requests.
• Liaise with other shifts to resolve quality and production issues.
• Perform other duties as required.
