Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with three or more years of manufacturing experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-2 small or similar areas/processes within the production facility/line.
• Lead production team members in a union or non-union environment and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide performance feedback to guide development of team members.
• Educate and enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards and initiate improvements.
• Support maintenance, continuous improvement, and value stream projects to meet schedules.
• Conduct root-cause analyses to resolve problems and implement improvements.
• Report and respond to product and process nonconformances.
• Implement and sustain 5S in work areas with available tools and materials.
• Champion changes in machines, processes, and assembly; lead Kaizen events.
• Create value stream mapping and standard work; maintain records per policy.
