Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising 1–2 production areas, guiding teams in union and non-union settings, enforcing 5S and safety standards, and driving Kaizen initiatives for process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to plan and organize projects.
• Experience leading production teams in union/non-union environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-2 small or similar areas/processes within the production facility/line.
• Lead production team members and provide daily troubleshooting support.
• Provide performance feedback and appraisals to team members.
• Educate and enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards and drivers for improvement.
• Support maintenance, continuous improvement, and value stream projects to meet production schedules.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement improvements.
• Create value stream mapping and standard work.
• Accurately maintain company records and documents.
