Kerry is seeking a Plant Operations Leader to drive daily manufacturing excellence in Virginia. You will oversee production targets, safety, and quality while leading shift planning, material flow, and continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder influence, and experience with Lean principles and SAP systems to optimize operations and deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet targets and quality standards.
• Lead shift planning, scheduling, and resource readiness.
• Ensure line start-up with safety, material availability, and documentation.
• Monitor material management, BOMs, and recipe adherence.
• Identify and resolve production issues with corrective actions.
• Maintain quality checks, traceability, and visual standards.
• Drive performance via reviews, huddles, and attainment-to-plan.
• Lead process confirmations and participate in meetings.
• Oversee production completion, SAP order support, yield analysis.
• Develop employees through training, performance management, attendance, and overtime.
• Coordinate breaks, shifts, and daily escalations.
• Lead audits and investigations including safety incidents.
