Job summary

Magna International is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead daily safety, quality, and production activities across the plant. The role focuses on achieving targets, maintaining compliance, and ensuring efficient staffing and coverage in a dynamic environment.

You will guide a team, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across functions to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. Position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and forklift license certification.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient mathematical, analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in diverse plant environments and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety, quality, and production activities, including pre-shift meetings and targets.
• Ensure compliance with Magna, OSHA, and plant safety standards, including audits and investigations.
• Coordinate staffing, assignments, and production line coverage for efficiency.
• Monitor production performance with data collection, downtime tracking and reporting.
• Drive quality and continuous improvement through corrective actions and lean methods.
• Develop and coach team members via training and feedback.
• Maintain cross-functional communication and 5S housekeeping to support goals.
