Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is seeking a production supervisor for the Lowe Boats Production team. You will supervise production employees, assign work, and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

You will drive improvements in methods, equipment, and procedures while fostering clear employee communications and engagement on the production floor. You’ll lead a team to meet performance metrics, manage staffing, and ensure adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Leadership experience or mentoring background.
• Knowledge of safety practices in manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze data and understand metrics.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience resolving conflicts.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Willingness to become Green Belt certified.
• Desire for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, delivery, and productivity metrics and drive action plans.
• Spend majority of time on the floor supervising daily production.
• Model Brunswick values and lead communications with employees.
• Use MS Office, Shop Floor Manager, OBMS for daily tasks.
• Staffing: interview, select and manage front-line employees and Leads.
• Ensure safety compliance, conduct audits, and address unsafe conditions.
• Lead continuous improvement with tools like 5S, root cause analysis.
• Manage cost, expenses, and inventory control.
• Coordinate with upstream/downstream teams to meet metrics.
• Develop team for succession and talent planning.
• Handle timekeeping and attendance in UKG.
