Job summary

Brunswick Corporation, a global marine leader, seeks an Operations leader for the Sea Ray Operations team. The role focuses on supervising supervisors and production staff, applying Lean and continuous improvement, and driving value across departments.

You will mentor belts, lead cost reductions, and ensure safe, efficient production aligned with budgets. Qualifications include a 7+ year manufacturing/engineering background, Lean Six Sigma certification, and ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Engineering/Manufacturing/Business or related field is required.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred; Green Belt with demonstrated history considered.
• Proficiency in Lean tools and applying them in Operational Management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal, written, listening and communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Identify resources to support the Operations Director to meet the operating plan and budget.
• Apply Lean tools to improve production and flow.
• Provide leadership for production operations and mentor supervisors/leads.
• Coach and mentor Green and Yellow Belts to drive financial impact.
• Monitor cost reductions and production bottlenecks; report findings to leadership.
• Support launch and integration of new models and cross-functional collaboration.
