Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group, a global marine leader, seeks a seasoned Operations Leader to oversee a team of supervisors and production staff in a boat manufacturing setting. You will apply Lean methods, mentor belts, and drive value stream performance while partnering with PDE, Sales, and Product Development to launch new models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations/Engineering/Manufacturing/Business or related field.
• 7+ years of operational experience in Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with demonstrated history a minimum.
• Proficiency in Lean tools, techniques and applying in Operational Management.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal, written, listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor supervisors and team leads to optimize value stream performance.
• Apply Lean tools to meet budget and operating plans.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity and visual management.
• Provide reports to Operations Director on progress.
• Coordinate cross-functional launches of new models and technology.
• Maintain effective employee relations and communication across departments.
