Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor in Minnesota to lead a multi‑functional manufacturing team. You will oversee production plans, ensure productivity and quality, and drive training, performance reviews, and safety adherence.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, tooling, and materials while guiding Cell and Shift Leaders to meet production targets. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for continuous improvement and on-time

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a combined production and leadership role in the high precision machining industry.
• Proficient reading, writing, oral communication, and comprehension in English.
• Knowledge of MS Office, CAD/CAM, and computer integrated manufacturing software.
• Ability to identify and evaluate complex problems and drive improvements with a team.
• Ability to interpret data charts, trends, and goal setting measurements.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating schedules, and driving quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of employees across multiple functional areas in manufacturing.
• Plan production schedules, labor, and resources to meet requirements.
• Ensure productivity, quality, safety goals are met and maintained.
• Coach and direct Cell Leaders and Shift Leaders; conduct training and evaluations.
• Coordinate tooling, supply orders, and maintenance with vendors and maintenance teams.
• Monitor workflows and run rate data; report productivity and quality issues to management.
• Support lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain 5S and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
