Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Production Technical Lead to drive safety, quality and productivity on the assigned line. You will lead technical coaching, training front-line operators, and implement improvements to reduce waste and downtime while maintaining GMP/HACCP standards.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, reliability and ability to work in fast-paced shifts on the production floor. Experience with lean methods and OEE improvement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting processing equipment and implementation of technical solutions.
• Production Lead experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for food processing equipment, formulations and methods.
• Provide direction on process optimization and equipment utilization.
• Lead troubleshooting technical issues on the production floor.
• Facilitate shift huddles and meetings to communicate performance and recognition.
• Ensure centerline compliance and teach centerline settings.
