Job summary

Sysco Las Vegas is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, schedule and direct the production operations to meet productivity, quality, safety and cost goals in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will lead direct and indirect staff, coordinate material handling, implement lean methods, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with policies while maintaining inventory accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily activities of production associates to ensure productivity, quality, safety and policy compliance.
• Coordinate material handling activities for direct and indirect labor.
• Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation, development and conflict resolution.
• Take corrective action per policy and communicate changes to staff.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to engage staff and discuss policies and improvements.
• Participate in staff selection and performance evaluations as needed.
• Prioritize and assign daily work to meet production goals.
