Job summary

Skydio, a leading US drone company, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and achieve safety, quality, and on-time delivery goals. Reporting to the Manager of Production, you will own daily execution, staffing, training, and process adherence on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing, production, ops experience.
• Experience leading or supervising production employees.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor execution.
• Experience managing staffing and changing operational requirements.
• Experience using KPIs like output, yield, scrap, cycle time, downtime, and labor efficiency.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to make timely decisions in fast-paced manufacturing env.
• Comfortable with computers and digital manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations for assigned areas, lines, or programs.
• Execute production plans while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Establish daily targets, staffing plans, and labor allocation.
• Monitor production performance and escalate constraints.
• Develop recovery plans when production falls behind schedule.
• Ensure safety, organization, cleanliness, and 5S on the floor.
• Directly supervise production leads, technicians, assemblers, and operators.
• Coordinate staffing, attendance, overtime, and training.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to investigate defects.
• Support NPI and pilot builds into sustained production.
• Maintain handoffs between shifts and production areas.
