Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will own staffing, output, training, and process adherence while coordinating with Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing Engineering.

The ideal candidate is hands‑on, data‑driven, and focused on continuous improvement of safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

3+ years of manufacturing/production experience.
Experience supervising production employees.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor execution.
Experience managing staffing and changing operational requirements.
Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs like output, yield, cycle time, and downtime.
Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with digital manufacturing systems and computers.

Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations for assigned areas, lines, or programs.
Monitor performance, elevate constraints, and develop recovery plans to stay on schedule.
Direct production leads, technicians, assemblers, and operators; manage staffing and training.
Ensure materials, tooling, and documentation are ready to support production.
Collaborate with Planning, Supply Chain, and QA to resolve defects and process deviations.
Drive continuous improvement with Lean, 5S, and standard work across production.
Communicate status, risks, and shortages to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Support NPI and pilot builds transitioning into sustained production.
