Job summary

Skydio, a leading US drone company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. You will own staffing, output, material readiness, and training, reporting to the Manager of Production.

You will supervise production leads and operators, monitor KPIs, partner with Quality, Planning, and NPI, and champion Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement to raise performance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related environment.
• Experience leading or supervising production employees.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production flow, and shop-floor execution.
• Experience managing staffing and labor allocation.
• Experience using manufacturing KPIs such as output, yield, cycle time, downtime, and labor efficiency.
• Proven leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations for assigned production areas or programs.
• Maintain safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Establish staffing plans, targets, and labor allocation.
• Monitor performance and escalate constraints.
• Develop recovery plans when behind schedule.
• Coach and develop production leads and operators.
