Skydio, the leading US drone company, seeks a Head of Manufacturing Engineering to scale high-volume electromechanical production with advanced automation, controls, and data-driven processes.
You will build and lead a multidisciplinary team spanning manufacturing engineering, automation and controls, equipment engineering, and production industrialization, driving the long-term strategy and on-floor execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
- 12+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience scaling electromechanical products into high-volume production.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the manufacturing engineering organization across automation, controls, and production systems.
- Define strategy, roadmap, and capabilities to support significant production growth.
- Partner with Design, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
