Job summary

DFA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and mentor a team in our Pennsylvania manufacturing facility. The role directs production scheduling, ensures safety, quality, and timely fulfillment of orders, and coordinates with maintenance and HR.

Candidates should have strong leadership, knowledge of GMP, and experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment. This position reports to plant management and requires effective communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree in related curriculum preferred.
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude or supervisory experience.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production employees to meet daily goals.
• Monitor milk receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, separating, freezing, cooling, filling, packaging and storage to ensure quality.
• Monitor equipment to ensure proper cleaning, function and timely repairs.
• Promote safe work behaviors and report injuries; conduct safety meetings and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations and DFA GMPs.
• Supervise production scheduling to meet orders and demand; coordinate materials.
