Job summary

dfa is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our manufacturing facility. You will direct production staff, monitor process steps from receiving to packaging, and ensure that daily goals and quality standards are met.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to food safety and GMP compliance. You will collaborate with maintenance, QA, and HR to resolve issues and drive continuous improvements while maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree preferred in related field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably food/beverage.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude or supervisory experience.
• ESL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and direct production employees to meet daily goals.
• Monitor production stages (receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, filling, packaging) to ensure quality.
• Ensure equipment is functioning, clean and sanitized; arrange timely repairs.
• Promote safety and conduct investigations; report injuries to HR promptly.
• Administer policies related to operations, food safety and quality.
• Supervise production scheduling to meet orders and ensure materials are staged for next runs.
• Look for ways to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Communicate with employees through shift meetings and effective collaboration.
• Lead promotions/transfers, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with regulations.
• Follow GMP and sanitation requirements.
