Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Production Operator Lead at our BLOOMFIELD, CT facility. This role partners with the Production Supervisor to manage the production floor, ensuring safety, quality and throughput while complying with GMP standards.

The position requires 12-hour rotating shifts (day or night) and hands-on line support, materials readiness, and production reporting to drive continuous improvement across the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• 4+ years in manufacturing or related field.
• 4+ years in a leadership/people management role.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily shift activities to meet safety, quality, and throughput goals.
• Coordinate handoffs with previous shift to prepare for the current shift.
• Conduct shift walk-throughs to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Order and inspect raw materials for changeovers; perform first pass quality checks.
• Verify jobs in Oracle/ Warehouse Management System/ Line Management System.
• Support production reports and monitor downtime per escalation plan.
