Job summary

Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) in New York is hiring a full-time Production Manager to oversee all technical productions, rentals and events. You will supervise departments and coordinate with internal teams to ensure safe, on-schedule, on-budget execution across theater, lobby stage and special projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in production management, experience with unions, and a track record of inclusive, anti-racist leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in production management, with leadership experience.
• Experience with union personnel and NYC collaborations.
• Ability to develop budgets, schedules and labor plans.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and inclusive leadership.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and multi-disciplinary production.
• Able to read light plots and technical docs; heavy on organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the production process as part of the PM team.
• Guide staff across programming, events, rentals, and site-specific needs.
• Collaborate with DoP to assign production work and staffing.
• Assist in scheduling spaces and developing budgets for productions.
• Advance productions, review contracts, and plan labor and resources.
• Coordinate with rental clients and internal teams for smooth events.
• Oversee transportation, load-in logistics, and travel as needed.
• Work with artists and designers to realize creative, high-quality work.
• Support annual budgeting and reforecasting; maintain procedures.
